CALL FOR TENDERS
maap tenderS – FALL construction 2026
The Ontario Aggregate Resources Corporation invites sealed tenders for the supply of labour, equipment and materials to rehabilitate eight (8) legacy aggregate pits (3 tenders) in Simcoe, Grey and Dufferin Counties. Construction of these contracts must begin on or about September 21, 2026 and must be completed on or about October 9, 2026. Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid site meeting on August 27, 2026. Site locations are located under Schedule C, Site Location on Tender Document and the Google link below.
To register for the pre-bid, please contact Shaunessy Kumka at 1-905-483-6597 or sikumka@toarc.com. All contractors must register by 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Contractor is responsible for printing copies of the Tender Documents, including rehabilitation plans. Attendance at all contract sites is mandatory to qualify for bidding. Late arrivals will not be permitted to bid.

TENDER SUBMISSION:
For the tender to be considered complete, the Contractor must submit:

- Properly completed Form of Tender:
- The Tender deposit equal to at least 10% of the total Tender Price
- The Agreement to Bond, or Agreement to furnish a Letter of Credit
- Part A to the Form of Tender – Schedule of Items and Prices;
- Part B to the Form of Tender – Schedule of Addition and Deletion Prices;
- Part C to the Form of Tender – Summary of Tenderer’s Experience in Successfully Completing Similar Work.
SUCCESSFUL TENDERER:
The successful tenderer must electronically submit the tender by 11:00am, Friday, September 4, 2026 and be able to provide TOARC with;

- Performance and Maintenance Bond, or Letter of Credit equal to 50% of the total tender price,
- Current and valid WSIB certificate and,
- General Public Liability and Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy of two million dollars.
