Call for Tenders

The Ontario Aggregate Resources Corporation invites sealed tenders for the supply of labour, equipment and materials to rehabilitate 10 legacy aggregate pits (3 tenders) in Peterborough, Kawartha and Durham Counties. Construction of these contracts must begin on or about May 11, 2026 and must be completed on or about June 5, 2026. Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid site meeting on April 21, 2026.

Abandoned pits and quarries were integral to building roadways, bridges, corridors
and foundations for other infrastructures, and for this reason they are referred to as “legacy sites”.
