MAAP is funded by the aggregate industry, paid for by producers, through a portion of the per tonne levy. In 2018, the portion of the levy for the MAAP program is set to 3% of the total annual license fees collected. Further years contribution to the MAAP program will be adjusted based on an inflation index.
