Changes have been made to aggregate fees and royalties. These changes follow extensive public and stakeholder consultation and better reflect the interest of all Ontarians.

Starting on January 1, 2018, the annual fees charged on aggregate licences and permits, and the issuance fees charged on wayside permits will increase. The new fees will be charged on aggregate (or, in the case of permits, on aggregate and topsoil). The new fees will be payable by March 15, 2019.
