What is TOARC and MAAP?
Danielle Solondz, Project Coordinator outlines the key responsibilities of The Ontario Aggregate Resources Corporation (TOARC). TOARC’s key functions is the collection of production data and disbursement of collected fees, conducting annual audits of production reported, facilitating aggregate education programming and rehabilitating revoked aggregate sites. Another major TOARC program is the Management of Abandoned Aggregate Properties (MAAP) that is responsible for the rehabilitation of legacy sites and conducting research applicable to the aggregate industry at large.
