This abandoned pit was coined a pit with two faces. The project consisted of agricultural restoration project combined with a natural/wetland enhancement initiative. Vernal pools were created adjacent to the wetland to promote biodiversity. A fence and a row of trees were erected to delineate between the two areas and to reduce trespassing.
