This gravel pit was bordered on one side by agricultural crops and on the other by a Provincially Significant Wetland (PSW).
Three quarters of the pit area was rehabilitated to usable farm land with a 45 meter buffer that included a vegetated
2 meter high berm to collect run-off from high rain events.
