This 0.32 ha pit consisted of two horseshoe shaped faces beside each other. The landowners were horse owners and wanted to be able to pasture their horses or cut hay from the field. A grading plan was devised to create a very gentle slope that could be accessed with a tractor or be ideal for grazing.
