The Shetler pit face was right at the fence line and posed a hazard for both the landowner and his neighbour. With the cooperation of both parties, material was generated from one farm to create the gentle workable final grade. A win-win for both parties. A large amount of stockpiled topsoil assisted in the return of this part of the farm to production.
